Alchemy is a retail investing ideas and performance tracking platform. This policy explains how Alchemy ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our app and website.

- Account and profile information, such as name, email address, and profile details you choose to provide.
- App usage and telemetry, including pages viewed, actions taken, and basic diagnostic logs to improve reliability and performance.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, session management, and site preferences. Optional analytics cookies may be used if enabled.
- Google OAuth data: your name, email address, and profile picture, plus the OAuth scopes we request (currently: openid, email, profile).
How we use data
- Authenticate users and manage accounts.
- Provide core app functionality, including idea submission and performance tracking.
- Protect the platform, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve product features, reliability, and user experience.
Google user data handling
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We only use Google user data to provide and improve Alchemy's functionality, including login and account management.
Sharing and disclosure
We share data with trusted service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting and infrastructure (Vercel), authentication and database services (Supabase), and analytics or email providers if used. We may also disclose data to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect users. We do not sell personal data.
Data Deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it longer for legal or security purposes. We may retain limited records (such as audit logs) to prevent fraud or comply with obligations.
